Chapter 936: Dismantle-2

Chapter 936: Dismantle-2

*Baam*

The metal door cracked and flung open, Samuel came inside with his handgun. The kids ducked down right on cue.

After few blinding shots filled the room, the guards fell down like potato sacks. He knew he wouldn’t be able to hold back because there was a chance of them taking hostage.

After scanning the room again, he counted exactly eleven life force which made him relax his vigilance.

" Alright everyone, you can come out." He said in a calm tone.

He saw several people crawl out of their hiding places, they didn’t look scared but it did surprise them when they saw several dead bodies.

Few of them began to shake while the person who received the beating earlier even went to the corpse to give it a few kicks. He was crying and shouting, a radical emotional outburst because of their situation.

" Follow me." Samuel didn’t really care about what they did, they had different ways show their emotions because of their special conditions. He knew he had to hire some expert help with this case.

They quietly followed him, when they went out of the room the whole place started buzzing. The alarms went off after which the lockdown procedure was initiated.

Samuel had already destroyed the door so there was no changes there but every other room was locked shut, even the windows were covered in reinforced steel fully packing the warehouse.

He led them toward the room where Lihn was. The door of the room was ordinary without any high tech security, just a large metal door which was heavy enough that one would need two or three people to pry it open.

Samuel walked up to the door and started tapping, it was his signal, he spelled out Lihn’s name in morse code. He was confident being tech savvy, Lihn would be able to figure out this puzzle.

" Yes."

" Take your friends to do the same. Can you do it?"

" They are not my friends but I can do it." She said without much conviction.

" What about you? Can you look after them?" He asked the girl who asked him the question earlier. At least she could look him in the eye with meant she was somewhat strong willed.

" I-i can. She helped us so I can do it." The girl looked at Linh giving her a sympathetic gaze. There seemed to be some story behind her look.

" Good. Take care of yourself and lock your doors from inside, we will leave after midnight." Samuel said his peace and began walking away from the group.

He heard few faint ’thank yous’ which made him smile. At least they had some decency to show their gratitude. He didn’t blame them after what they had been through, he shook his head heading toward his ultimate goal.

Through his superiors hearing, he could hear outside guards trying to get inside to no avail. The door was thicker than bank vault, they would have to use high grade explosives to get inside which left them in a dilemma.

If the shitry building collapsed or Richard got hurt, they would be dead. It might be a false alarm but because they couldn’t contact anyone inside, they were panicking. What if there was really an intruder? None of them wanted to take any chances.

They believed in their brothers, any sneaky bastard would be dealt with! They just had to hope for the best and think of other ways to get inside.

Meanwhile, Samuel stood outside Richard’s door. The noises died down completely, he could feel Richard had locked himself inside a panic room but there was still some signs of other people in the room.

Three of them hurdled together in the corner, probably his companions for the night but there was two other life signs. He couldn’t see them but he knew someone protecting Richard wouldn’t be a pushover.

He steeled himself and unlocked the door as slow as he could bracing himself for a fight!
