Yu Youyou's gaze turned cold. Just when An Xing thought she was too angry to speak, she suddenly laughed, tilting her head and staring at An Xing. Her voice sent a chill down An Xing's spine:

But Dark Star immediately swarmed around her again, drawing a circle of fire around Yu Youyou and enveloping her within it.

Yu Youyou stared at Anxing expressionlessly. The next second, a black chain appeared out of thin air on Anxing, locking him up tightly.

"Death?" Dark Star looked at the black chains surrounding it, showing no fear whatsoever. It let out a mocking laugh:

"Do you think those dead god friends of yours never used them against me?"

The moment it finished speaking, the black chains were burned to ashes by the flames.

“I gave you a chance, Oxi,” Dark Star grinned menacingly, “but you remained unrepentant.”

"Then I'll have no choice but to crush you, just like I crush any other god."

Yu Youyou's gaze was cold as she stared intently at An Xing, remaining silent for a long time.

The flames continued to approach her, but a blessing erected a barrier in the middle, preventing the flames from getting any closer.

Through the flames, Dark Star saw Yu Youyou's undisguised disgust for the first time, and belatedly realized: "You hate me?"

"Why do you hate me? I was just trying to help you, but you don't understand my good intentions."

"Or do you hate me for hurting your lover, or for killing other gods?"
