HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 294 Current Situation and Mistake

Chapter 294 Current Situation and Mistake

Valentine's Day was a joyful time. In addition to the regular classes, the class that everyone paid the most attention to was the Apparition class.

Wicky Tekros is a wizard sent by the Ministry of Magic to teach. So far, there have been students splitting into two parts in every class. Fortunately, there are several professors who are always ready to help.

Apparition mainly depends on self-practice. Gloria had learned it a long time ago and performed it several times in each class as usual, and then watched Draco's training.

Draco is quite talented and has not yet experienced any splitting.

By the time they were almost done practicing, the professor no longer cared about them standing on the edge.

While Gloria was watching other students' practice, Draco went to the side to talk to a few students.

After a while, someone came back and pulled her to a corner where no one was.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"Didn't we say last time that we would stop disturbing Crabbe and Goyle? The club members are still keeping an eye on them." Draco said, "Recently, I noticed that they no longer left one person to guard them. They went to the eighth floor after dinner and seemed very anxious."

Gloria was not surprised. "Of course they are anxious. This is a task that the man personally gave them. If they haven't found the item yet, I'm afraid they will have a hard time getting through the summer vacation."

"I understand this. It just so happens that they have very few advanced classes. I heard that they threw the homework to Daphne and the others. But I also heard other things." Draco narrated with his own curiosity, "Someone heard them arguing, and things were always not fixed."

This made Gloria frown, "They're still repairing things?"

But she hadn't seen it yet, and she thought the two were only looking for the Coronet Horcrux.

"They told me that just because they thought it was strange." Draco had the same puzzlement on his face. "Are they still secretly repairing things? Although I changed my dormitory, there are still people from the club living in the same dormitory with them. It's impossible not to see them hiding things and repairing them."

This matter is indeed confusing. Gloria said: "It's hard to say who the repairs are for. We will pay attention to them in daily life."

Voldemort ordered them to find the diadem, but it is not known whether repairing things is part of the mission.

She continued, "I will write to De Vries and ask him to keep an eye on that man and see if he has given orders to repair anything."

De Vries does not have much trust in Voldemort, so this matter may take some time to investigate.

·

Gloria quickly wrote a letter to De Vries, who said he would pay attention to the matter in the future.

After the battle at the Department of Mysteries, several Death Eaters who were highly valued by Voldemort were re-imprisoned in Azkaban, and now De Vries is in a middle position.

Recently she often wrote letters to Sirius and Tonks, especially Tonks, whom she still had a crush on.

Time went from February to March, and Ron's birthday was on March 1st.

On Saturday, Gloria and Draco got up early and prepared to go to the library first, then go to the auditorium at breakfast time and give the gift to Ron.

"Father said that there have been more frequent attacks recently." Draco said worriedly in the corner of the library, "The Death Eaters even specifically attack officials of the Ministry of Magic. Ordinary wizards basically use the fireplace to go out. Those people also specifically go to the border locations to catch people who intend to leave the British wizarding world."

The wizarding community has greatly increased their awareness of security. Even if there are alarms in their houses, once it is triggered, they can use the fireplace to escape regardless of who is behind it.

Many shops in Diagon Alley are still open. Due to daily needs, there are many temporary shops specializing in selling food and ingredients, and the Ministry of Magic strongly supports it.

Gloria said, "They caused panic, but they didn't kill many people. Since Christmas, they have attacked Diagon Alley twice, and both times they were dealt with by Basilius."

Some wizards were injured, but fortunately no one died. The Aurors also paid attention to that place. There was no other reason, as there were a lot of wizards gathered there.

Two attacks were organized, and except for two powerful ones, all the others were petrified and thrown into Azkaban.

"Father is also very careful now." Draco said, "Mother hasn't gone out shopping for a long time. She liked the gift we sent last time very much."

The last time Gloria and Draco went to Hogsmeade village, they specially picked out a lot of gifts. In addition to the Malfoys, Gloria also gave gifts to the Tonks family and Sirius.

"I'm glad I like it." She sighed. "I hope that person won't get the urge to check the cave where the locket is placed."

Now I think about it, when I saw my father's body, I was too angry, and I didn't expect Voldemort to return so soon, so I destroyed that place early.

As long as Voldemort took a look, he would know that the Horcrux had been discovered.

"Even if he saw it, he wouldn't know who destroyed it." Draco consoled, "You never showed any sign of knowing about the Horcrux. Harry didn't know about it when his brain was invaded."

Gloria said: "He hasn't looked yet. It's probably because he's too conceited and thinks no one can detect the Horcrux."

He was so conceited that he thought the place where he put the things was safe enough, and he was sure that Slughorn didn't have the courage to ask the question he asked when he was a student.

The time was almost up, Gloria picked up her gifts and was about to go to the auditorium when she heard an argument and the sharp questioning could not be ignored.

"Is he just going to fall in love with someone else?"

"no……"

Gloria heard the voice behind her that seemed to be Harry's, and went upstairs with Draco.

When they got upstairs, they saw Ron walking towards Professor Slughorn's office with an obsessed look on his face. Lavender was hysterical behind him, and Harry looked like he had lost all hope in life.

Draco leaned against the wall, watching the farce and asked, "Do you need help?"

Ron seemed not to see him and continued walking forward. Gloria could see that something was wrong with him.

"He's not infatuated with someone else," Harry explained anxiously. "Ron accidentally ate my cauldron cake, which had a love potion in it."

Lavender's angry expression froze on her face. "Love potion?"

"Yes." Harry nodded. "I lied to him and found him in Professor Slughorn's office, asking him to help him remove the effects of the love potion."

Lavender dropped the gift in her hand to the ground and covered her mouth with both hands. "That's good. Luo Luo still loves me!"

Draco frowned, and Gloria had already knocked on Ron's office door.

Slughorn opened the door after a while, looking like he had just woken up. When he saw the scene outside, he was stunned.

"what happened?"

Ron had already pushed him aside and went in on his own.

Gloria said, "Professor, he accidentally ate a cauldron cake laced with a love potion and needs to take an antidote."

"Romilda, here I come." Ron shouted in his voice that seemed to contain honey.

Professor Slughorn managed to match Draco's expression, but Lavender's face had turned dark, even though she knew she had taken the love potion by mistake.

Harry said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I should have dealt with the cake earlier. I was too busy and forgot about it."

"It's okay." Slughorn regained his normal look and said to Gloria and Draco, "Would you like to come in? We can have a quick meal together."

Ok……

Even when it is not party time, I still try to spend more time with these high-potential students.
