Chapter 252 Miss Hilo's Invitation
Chapter 252 Miss Hilo's Invitation
Chapter 252 Miss Hilo's Invitation (Part 2)
As the snowflakes enveloped everything, everything around turned a ghastly white, more like a white fog than snow.
What's going on?
François felt a little panicked looking at the vast expanse of white around him. He could see neither his target nor his companions.
Is that damned half-breed Veela dead or not? Or is this hers—
"François, where are you?"
François heard his companion's voice coming from the snow. Hearing this, François was initially delighted and prepared to respond, but the next second he heard a scream.
"what!"
"Clatter—"
Then came the sound of boots hitting the snow, and something falling on the snow.
The piercing scream was particularly jarring in the white, misty snow, and it made François feel an even more chilling cold.
What is going on?
Was he caught?
still----
"I'm fine, I just fell down—I just fell down!"
"Where are you? Miss Hamilton has been—been killed!"
Hearing the familiar voice again, François breathed a sigh of relief. It turned out he had just fallen down—that good-for-nothing.
He pursed his lips, about to reply, when he heard the voice of another of his companions not far away.
"Where are you? I'm coming to meet you! And François, where are you?"
"The snow around us is too heavy; we can't see anything at all!"
"If all else fails, how about using the Hurricane Spell? If the three of us work together—ah!"
"
"
What followed was a chilling silence.
What is going on?
Bodley also fell down?
Even if François was stupid, he realized something was wrong—he dared not speak, dared not move, dared not make any sound, and even subconsciously, he became careful with his breathing.
That guy—that guy is taking us down one by one—
"Where's François? We've all reunited!"
"Where are you, François?"
"Gurgle."
When François heard her name called, she quickly covered her mouth, trying to keep herself from making a sound—this was a—that guy disguised with a spell—as someone who could use the Silent Charm, she could easily control Bodley and Erenda with the Imperius Charm without revealing herself.
If both Bodley and Erenda were killed—then he himself—Francois suddenly felt a chill, and that chill wasn't from the outside in, but from the inside out—
His legs were frozen in the snow, and he dared not move an inch. If he made even the slightest sound, he would be discovered.
"François, are you still there?"
"Did you go for butterbeer, François?"
No — absolutely no response —
François's hand holding the wand trembled slightly as he forced himself to calm down—if—if he were fast enough, could he use Apparition to escape?
After all, this isn't Hogwarts; there are no anti-Apparition spells or anything like that.
Thinking of this, he took a deep breath and raised his wand, but as soon as he raised the wand, he slipped and took a step back.
His body jerked violently as his boots crunched in the snow.
"Buzz!"
A figure emerged from the snow, flashing with silver light, followed by a red spell.
,
Loila took a deep breath as she looked at the stranger who had fallen before her, then gripped her wand tightly and remained silent for a few seconds.
Only after confirming that there were indeed only three people did she raise her wand and flick it.
A gust of wind swept past the tip of the staff, dispersing the snow fog that obscured everything.
As the white mist dissipated, three figures lying in different places were revealed.
Looking at the three people, Loila pursed her lips and then exhaled a breath of white air.
So—so who are they?!
Wasn't I on my way to see Miss Hilo? How did I suddenly run into these three people and get attacked by them—and then inexplicably defeat them—?
Wait a minute—they all seem to be French, right? Roy clearly heard them speaking French—thankfully, Royra also speaks French, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to use the Imperius Curse to control their speech—
Wait a minute—if they are all French, doesn't that mean they are members of the Rozier family?
Does that mean they are also members of the UMNO party?
This is terrible! I think I defeated my own companions again—but why are they here?
Loila didn't think they were there to greet her—if they were going to greet her, they would be using butterbeer instead of a killing spell, right?
Doesn't that mean—they were sent by Miss Shiloh to kill me? But why isn't Miss Shiloh here?
Oh dear! This is so confusing—Loira didn't know what to say for a moment; her mind was a complete mess—
No—no—I can't let them just lie there on the roadside. It would be terrible if someone saw them. Whether they suspect I attacked them or realize they attacked me, it wouldn't be a good thing!
In a panic, Loila quickly raised her wand and swung it, pulling all three of them together. Looking at the three people she had knocked out with a stun spell, Loila began to ponder the question of how long a person could live if buried in the ground.
Or should we just throw it into the lake?
Or—ah—why didn't I put them in the Space Extension Book?
Thinking of this, Loila hurriedly pulled out the Book of Spatial Expansion from her bosom, and then frantically used her wand to lift up the man named François Rozier, trying to stuff him into the book.
If someone saw her doing this, it wouldn't be easy to explain—Loila thought to herself with a bit of guilt, then looked around.
result----
She saw Peterson looking bewildered, carrying a snakeskin bag.
"Cousin...cousin?"
"What...what's going on?"
"And isn't that—François Rozier? What's he doing here, and—don't put any more in, cousin!"
"You mean you found those three people collapsed on the roadside and wanted to take them back to Hogwarts for emergency treatment?" Peterson looked at the girl who was looking down, constantly rubbing her hands, and speaking haltingly.
His lips twitched slightly.
"Cousin, do you think anyone will believe such an excuse?"
"Yes—yes—and this isn't an excuse—"
"That's definitely an excuse, isn't it?!" Peterson interrupted Loira, pursing his lips as he said, "I know—this must be that Shilo Rozier's conspiracy."
"She wanted to kill her cousin, so she deliberately ambushed three people here to do it—" Peterson said, adjusting his glasses, "This must be reported to Headmaster Dumbledore immediately!"
"No—no—" Loila quickly reached out to grab Peterson, but instead grabbed the snakeskin bag in his hand, and the contents immediately spilled out and fell to the ground.
"I'm so sorry!" Loila hurriedly raised her wand to help Peterson put away the documents, but he grabbed her wrist.
"What are you doing?!" Peterson's voice was unusually cold, as if he was angry, which made Loila tremble.
"Hmm!"
Peterson's eyes are terrifying! And his voice is terrifying too! And my wrist—my wrist hurts so much—
"Hiss." Loila let out a groan of pain, bringing Peterson back to his senses. He pursed his lips and said, "Sorry, cousin—I was a little out of line." He released her hand and then waved his wand to put the documents back into the bag.
Then, looking at Royla, who was standing there pale and speechless, he said seriously, "But I have to tell Headmaster Dumbledore about this."
"They're going to kill you!"
"But----"
"No buts!" Peterson's words made Loila shudder again.
