Sasori silently pulled his tail from a sentry's body and finally stood before the gates of Konoha Village.

Itachi stood to the side behind Sasori, holding a box in his arms, his eyes lowered, silent.

Sasori turned his head slightly, glanced at Itachi, and comforted him:

"Once we open the passage to Konoha Village and let those White Zetsu kill their way in, you'll have your chance to get revenge."

Itachi kept a straight face and a blank expression, not saying a word.

The scorpion ignored him and just hunched over and moved forward.

While outside the village, a covert assassination might have been possible, but now that they've reached the village entrance, with its constant flow of people, it's no longer feasible to carry out such an assassination.

The two were quickly discovered by the guards of Konoha Village.

"Halt! Who are you?"

Itachi quickly jumped away again, his eyes darting left and right as he carefully observed the surroundings.

Now that Kotetsu has appeared, Izumo Kamatsuki, who has always been with him, must have arrived as well.
