Chapter 80 Six Immortals
Chapter 80 Six Immortals
Chapter 80 The Six Paths Immortal (Seventh Update)
Outside the Konoha Village camp.
Jiraiya walked slowly to the tent where Kakashi was stationed, hesitated for a moment, then gently lifted the tent flap and went inside.
Kakashi was sitting there quietly, his expression calm and focused, as if he was thinking about something.
Jiraiya sighed, gently patted Kakashi's shoulder, and said, "Kakashi, why aren't you resting so late?"
Kakashi looked up and smiled slightly: "Naruto is asleep, but I couldn't rest easy, so I stayed a little longer."
Jiraiya nodded, and after a moment of silence, his expression suddenly turned serious. He slowly said, "Actually, I just returned from the Uchiha clan's territory. Something happened there."
Kakashi's eyes sharpened, and he immediately focused his attention.
"The Second Hokage... and Orochimaru attempted to use the Impure World Reincarnation technique to summon Uchiha Shisui, trying to change Uchiha Abominable's desire to destroy the world."
"But things took a turn for the better than they expected."
"As a result, things may have become even more complicated."
After listening to Jiraiya's account, Kakashi remained silent for a moment.
"The mutation curse has been strengthened. While it's possible for infection bloodlines to occur, the conditions for this infection may require very specific triggering circumstances..."
After thinking for a while, Kakashi reminded Jiraiya:
"However, Tobirama-sama's behavior is becoming increasingly extreme..."
"I've come to warn you about Tobirama-sama's actions... You should be careful."
Jiraiya paused, his gaze sweeping over Naruto, who was sleeping peacefully inside the tent, before turning to Kakashi and solemnly saying:
"Kakashi, the Sharingan in your body and the curse of Uchiha Abyss have always been a concern for Tobirama-sama."
"Tsunade and I have discussed this issue privately. After all, Abyss's power is indeed extremely strange, and its influence on the Sharingan is far too strong."
Kakashi was silent for a moment, then slowly asked, "Lord Jiraiya, are you really not worried at all that I've already been infected?"
Upon hearing the question, Jiraiya paused slightly, a subtle flicker in his eyes, before giving a bittersweet but relieved smile: "It would be a lie to say I'm not worried. But..."
"If we isolate you completely out of fear, or even create another tragedy like your father's, that is absolutely not what we want to see."
"Even the old man now would never allow such a tragedy to happen again."
Jiraiya smiled helplessly and continued, "We actually know in our hearts that Lord Tobirama has his reasons for many of his actions."
"But how can a person living in this world easily sever all their emotions? After all, ninjas are human too..."
He sighed deeply, then looked cautiously at Kakashi and asked again, "So, Kakashi, what do you think? Do you think you've really been infected?"
A flicker of confusion and struggle crossed Kakashi's eyes. After a long silence, he whispered...:
"To be honest, I'm not sure myself. But one thing I'm very clear about is... I want to protect Naruto, I want to protect the people I cherish, and that feeling is real."
From being a Hokage candidate to his current state, Kakashi doesn't seem to mind and understands Tobirama's actions...
Aside from protecting Obito, Kakashi felt he was still rational about everything else.
Upon hearing this, Jiraiya's expression gradually softened...
He patted Kakashi on the shoulder and said with a smile, "That's good... Kakashi, take good care of Naruto, good luck."
Watching Jiraiya slowly leave, Kakashi quietly took a deep breath, and a look of exhaustion gradually appeared on his face.
Having spent all day watching over Naruto, and being fully aware of the turbulent situation in the Land of Water and Konoha, he dared not truly fall asleep, and was extremely exhausted.
Before he knew it, Kakashi had taken a nap by the tent.
In a daze, he felt as if he had fallen into some kind of dream, as if he were in a dark and void.
Suddenly, an old and solemn voice rang in his ears...
"Kakashi Hatake..."
Kakashi suddenly awoke, looked around, and found himself standing in a boundless dream, with an old man silently floating in mid-air in front of him.
It has two horns on its head, long gray-white hair that falls over its shoulders, and wears a wide white robe with six black magatama on its chest and red swirls and nine-square grid magatama patterns on its back.
The old man had a kind yet dignified face, holding a peculiar scepter, his gaze calm and profound.
"Who are you."
Kakashi stared in astonishment at the mysterious old man before him.
The old man smiled calmly and slowly said, "I am Hagoromo Otsutsuki. Or, as you are more familiar with, the Sage of Six Paths."
Upon hearing the words "Sage of Six Paths," Kakashi's expression changed drastically, and for a moment he even doubted whether he had fallen under a powerful genjutsu.
The old man seemed to sense his thoughts and gently comforted him, "Don't be nervous. I am not using illusion magic. I have simply been secretly observing you through the reincarnation of Asura."
Kakashi stared at the other person in astonishment, and asked in confusion, "Observing me? Why...?"
The Sage of Six Paths nodded slowly and said gently, "Because you are different from those who were infected by the power of Uchiha Abyss."
"Although you are affected by the curse of the Sharingan, your inner rationality and determination have always suppressed it, preventing you from truly losing yourself in the darkness."
However, before he could finish speaking, Kakashi coldly interrupted him: "Enough."
Without the slightest hesitation, Kakashi stared at the legendary figure before him...:
"Whether it's you or Uchiha Gen, I don't want to listen to either of your arrangements anymore, because you are both very arrogant, so arrogant that it makes people very uncomfortable."
"Changing other people's destinies, manipulating other people's destinies... for you, it's all about looking down on everything in this world..."
The Sage of Six Paths felt a slight sense of relief, then his gaze deepened as he stared at Kakashi, a hint of helplessness and a sigh flashing in his eyes.
He said slowly:
"I do not intend to use you, but the situation in the ninja world is now extremely precarious."
"Tobirama is in a somewhat dangerous situation..."
"If you really can't accept my arrangement, then please, for the sake of Konoha, go to the Land of Water and save him from the impending disaster."
Upon hearing Tobirama's name, Kakashi's expression immediately turned serious, his brows furrowed, and he fell into a brief silence and struggle.
Although he inwardly resisted being controlled by anyone, the current situation concerned Konoha...
Although Tobirama consistently rejected and was hostile towards him, Kakashi knew very well that he was doing the right thing.
Because I am in a state of being affected by pollution.
Despite having a clear sense of self, she was forced to continue accompanying Obito on his path of transforming and destroying the ninja world.
Kakashi was in more pain than anyone else...
The Sage of Six Paths' words now pushed his inner torment to an even higher level...
no.
I cannot be like my father...:
But Father.
Can you tell me what I should do?
