Chapter 63 Welcome to This World

The seemingly long wait did not actually last long. Deep inside the city of Atlantis, Aquaman only felt a sudden tremor, and then he found that the ground beneath his feet rose up.

However, their blind misuse of magic ultimately caused the entire continent to shatter and sink into the sea during a catastrophic energy burst.

The modern Atlanteans have fully evolved and adapted to life underwater, but are unable to move around on land for extended periods.

"Take it!"

Joey tossed a Sunstone to Aquaman. It was the same Kryptonian technology, or rather alien technology, that had previously solved the climate problem on the Amazonian islands. It came from reverse engineering of a once-powerful enemy of Krypton.

"Power it, and it will generate a protective shield that isolates your city from the outside environment."

Fortunately, the Atlanteans had already unlocked the unlimited energy option in their tech tree, so Joey didn't need to build another Arc Reactor.

"Welcome back to this world, Aquaman."

—Joey said this to Aquaman:
