Chapter 36 Shendu Joins S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Natasha, report the situation."

As soon as Fury returned to S.H.I.E.L.D., he took Natasha to his office, where he saw the "Chitauri spy files" that Natasha had mentioned.

As Natasha recounted the events discussed in the meeting, Fury's brow furrowed even more, and he slammed his hand on the table: "Absurd! The Chitauri soldiers have already attacked Valon's residence, and the rest of the higher-ups are still silent."

"Mr. Valon, joining S.H.I.E.L.D. will only benefit you, not harm you," Fury threatened. "A being who doesn't belong to this world can only survive in this world by fully joining us."

"What if I continue to refuse?" Saint Lord confronted Fury.

"Then it's not up to you."

As soon as Fury finished speaking, Natasha and Steve, who were standing nearby, cooperated by walking behind Shendu.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Valon, joining S.H.I.E.L.D. is for your own good," Steve explained to Shendu, playing along with Fury.

The Holy Lord's eyes turned cold as he picked up the file folder in front of him.

The contents of the file were very simple, just a basic employment contract. The Holy Lord noted that the contract was for an indefinite period.

The Holy Lord raised an eyebrow: "Indefinitely? That's against the rules."

Fury waved his hand: "It is indeed indefinite. You have the power to control inanimate objects, and with the vitality of a dragon, you are perfectly capable of fulfilling this requirement. Moreover, your position must be ensured to remain in place indefinitely."
