Chapter 275 Tender Moments with Harry
Chapter 275 Tender Moments with Harry
We led Harry back to our villa. The servants there were very perceptive and avoided us whenever they saw us.
"What's wrong? Are you interested in this letter?" I had been feeling Harry's gaze fixed on the light blue letter I was holding.
“No, Ayers, don’t talk nonsense.” Harry turned his head away and stopped staring, but his tone didn’t sound like he didn’t care.
I smiled faintly and pulled the person into my arms, then put the letter into my portable backpack.
Then I gently pinned Harry against the wall of my own hallway. The spacious hallway was now just the two of us talking, as all the servants were very observant and avoided coming through.
Harry's eyes were like deep lake water, shimmering with complex light.
His cheeks flushed slightly, I couldn't tell if it was because he was startled by my sudden action or because he had some other feelings hidden in his heart.
"Ayers~ Don't do this~ We'll be seen~" His voice trembled slightly, but he tried his best to remain calm.
I smiled and gently leaned closer to him, my nose almost touching his.
“Harry, you know what? Every time I see you, my heart races like a runaway horse.” My voice was low and gentle, echoing in the quiet corridor.
Harry's breathing became rapid. He tried to turn his head away, but I gently held his chin with my hand, forcing him to look directly at me.
“Don’t hide, Harry,” I said softly, gently stroking his cheek with my thumb.
His eyes were filled with a mixture of shyness and joy, and his lips parted slightly, but he couldn't speak for a moment.
"I...I don't know how to deal with this feeling," he finally stammered.
I chuckled softly, "Then don't think so much, just follow your heart."
As I spoke, I slowly moved closer to his lips, stopping just before they touched.
A flicker of urgency crossed Harry's eyes, and he instinctively leaned forward slightly, trying to close the final distance.
Looking at his adorable appearance, I finally couldn't resist and gently kissed his lips.
In that instant, time seemed to stand still, and only the sound of our heartbeats mingled in the air.
This kiss was tender and affectionate, as if it contained all my love for him.
After the kiss, I pressed my forehead against his, and our eyes met.
“Harry, you don’t need to be jealous of others. Just know that you are unique in my heart,” I said softly, my eyes full of affection.
Harry's eyes glistened with tears, and he slowly nodded. "Yes, I understand."
His voice was choked with emotion, but incredibly firm.
We embraced each other in the corridor, as if the whole world had shrunk to just the two of us.
Sunlight streamed through the window at the end of the corridor, casting a warm and beautiful glow on us.
"Were you scared when you faced a Dementor all by yourself for the first time?" Instead of immediately talking to him about the hearing, I asked him if he was scared by the Dementors.
“With the necklace you gave me, those Dementors didn’t dare come near me. If Dudley hadn’t been there too, and I hadn’t used the Patronus Charm to protect him, the Ministry of Magic wouldn’t have known I used magic outside of school,” Harry whispered, resting his head on my shoulder.
“I think this might be a setup by the Ministry of Magic, just to find fault with you and prevent you from going to Hogwarts.” I took Harry’s hand and led him toward the Great Hall.
I pulled Harry to sit on the long sofa in the lounge and held him in my arms.
The leather of the sofa felt slightly cool, but when it touched my skin through my clothes, it did not diminish the warmth I felt at that moment.
Harry struggled slightly, then relaxed and nestled obediently in my arms.
His hair was soft and fluffy, with a faint scent of sunshine. I couldn't help but gently rub my cheek against it, which made him chuckle.
The laughter, like the clear sound of bells, echoed in the quiet lounge.
"Why don't they want me to go to Hogwarts?" Harry asked the question that had been on his mind.
"Where do you think there are the most wizards in the magical world?" I asked softly, my fingers slowly sliding down his hair.
Harry looked up, his eyes sparkling like they held stars: "According to you, it seems like Hogwarts has the most wizards." His voice was languid yet full of dependence.
I hugged him tightly, feeling the warmth of his body, and a sense of indescribable satisfaction welled up inside me.
"To be precise, there are quite a few wizards at Hogwarts School and the Ministry of Magic, but the wizards at the Ministry of Magic have already been exposed to society, so they are not so easy to fool. In contrast, the young wizards who are still studying at Hogwarts School are not mature enough and are easier to fool." I rested my head on Khalid's shoulder and analyzed the current situation for him.
"So you're saying the Minister of Magic doesn't want me to go back to school because he's afraid I'll brainwash the young wizards who are currently studying there?" Harry asked me uncertainly.
"Yes, my Harry is so smart." I smiled and hugged him even tighter.
At this moment, it felt as if the whole world had quieted down, leaving only the two of us on this small sofa, enjoying this peaceful and beautiful time.
The soft, warm lighting in the lounge bathed us, like a golden veil draped over us. Occasionally, soft footsteps would sound and then fade away, disturbing our tranquility in no way.
I recalled every little thing we experienced together; every moment we met flashed through my mind like a movie.
And at this moment, it is so precious that we can embrace each other so quietly.
"What are you thinking about?" Harry's voice interrupted my thoughts.
I looked down at him and smiled slightly: "I was thinking, how wonderful it would be to hold you like this forever."
Harry's face flushed slightly. He leaned gently against my chest and whispered, "Me too."
Time seemed to freeze at that moment, and we embraced each other quietly, feeling each other's heartbeats and breaths.
I don't know how much time passed, but Harry's breathing gradually became even and steady, and he fell asleep in my arms.
As I watched him sleep soundly, my heart was filled with tenderness.
I gently kissed his forehead, then hugged him tightly, as if I wanted to hold onto this happiness forever.
As the sun gradually set and the sky began to darken, Butler Chen quietly brought a blanket and handed it to me to cover Harry, who was sleeping in my arms.
Butler Chen had asked me if I wanted to use magic to move Harry to bed, but I didn't really want to, so I just kept holding Harry as he slept.
Harry didn't wake up until the moon rose and the sun had completely set.
"Ayers~ Am I asleep? What time is it?" Harry's voice was a little hoarse as he just woke up, and he was still a bit groggy, which made him look especially cute.
