Chapter 192 Defense Against the Dark Arts Class
Chapter 192 Defense Against the Dark Arts Class
"Draco." Suddenly, Draco hugged me, and I didn't know where to put my hands.
"Ayers, I was terrified! I thought that beast was going to swat me." Draco was still incredibly scared.
"Did you do something particularly rude?" He could feel that Draco in his arms was indeed frightened, his body trembling slightly.
"I just don't like Harry Potter," Draco said with a cute little pout.
"Ha~ Draco, you're so adorable like this." I was truly charmed by Draco. He's still so innocent, and he can still express his unhappiness on his face.
"Ayers, the word 'cute' shouldn't be used to describe me, right?" Draco really didn't know how cute he was.
"Yes, yes, are you feeling better now? You'll be fine with me here to protect you." I comforted him by hugging him and gently patting his back to soothe his emotions.
Ayers' embrace was so warm, it felt different from being held by his parents. It was like holding the most precious treasure in the world, protecting it carefully and meticulously.
"Ayers." Unexpectedly, Draco suddenly wrapped his arms around my neck, closed his eyes, and kissed my lips.
My body trembled slightly as I felt Draco's warmth and intimacy.
Draco's eyes were filled with affection and longing, and our lips slowly drew closer, as if exploring each other's souls.
When our lips finally touched, a strong electric current surged through our entire bodies.
Our lips pressed tightly together, conveying warmth and love to each other.
My tongue gently probed into his mouth, and Draco's tongue intertwined with mine, as if we were dancing a graceful dance.
Our breathing became rapid, and our heartbeats quickened.
Our bodies were pressed tightly together, feeling each other's body temperature and heartbeat.
I gently stroked Draco's hair, as if to comfort him.
The kiss lasted a very long time, as if time had stopped.
When we finally parted, my eyes were filled with satisfaction.
"Draco, do you know what you're doing? Do you need me to step back?" I respected his choice and said I would wait for his answer.
“No, Ayers, I don’t need you to back down. That’s my answer.” Draco made up his mind; he liked the feeling of being protected.
Besides his own father and mother, I am the third person who gives Draco the greatest sense of security.
Draco became addicted to the feeling, and he felt that if he rejected Ayers again, he might really lose Ayers.
"Let me tell you, once I've latched onto you, there's no escaping it." I was very satisfied with Draco's answer.
My right hand gently encircled Draco's waist, as if trying to merge him into my own body.
Draco's body trembled slightly, as if responding to my enthusiasm.
My left hand gently stroked his face, my fingers lightly tracing his fair skin, feeling his warmth.
I turned my head and kissed his lips, my lips gently touching his, as if exploring something.
His lips parted slightly to receive my kiss.
Our lips pressed tightly together, as if trying to merge into each other's bodies.
We succumbed again, our kisses growing more and more intense.
Our breathing became rapid, and our heartbeats became faster and faster.
Our bodies were pressed tightly together, intertwined.
"Draco~" She breathed slightly and nibbled on Draco's earlobe, her eyes full of possessiveness. Draco was different from the other targets in her heart.
Now that he's my platinum prince, I can't help but smile.
"Ayers, haven't we been here a little too long?" Draco, having caught his breath, realized how long he and I had been sitting there.
"Come on, do you want to sit with us?" We weren't sure if the group on our side could accept Draco, especially the three little ones.
"No need, I still have my own circle of friends here. I don't think I can get along with so many Gryffindor cubs over there." Draco wondered if his bloodline was just incompatible with Gryffindor.
"It's okay, don't force yourself. Do whatever you want." I've never forced my romantic partners to do what they like.
"Okay~" Draco was pleased. I'm not the kind of person who controls all my lovers; I still allow myself to make friends freely.
We tidied ourselves up a bit, then opened the door and headed towards the hall.
"Ayers, why are you chatting with that kid for so long?" Fred immediately came up to me and asked as Draco and I parted ways after we reached the hall.
“We’ve been talking for a while,” I said to Fred with a smile.
"What did you all talk about?" George asked curiously.
"This is a secret between Draco and me, I can't tell you," I said with a smile.
"Oh, I see." My answer piqued their curiosity, and they all wanted to know what Draco and I had talked about.
Soon it was time for afternoon classes, and I was in the same class as the Gemini again. It seemed like we were having classes together in both Slytherin and Gryffindor houses today.
The atmosphere in class with the twins was really great, but it wasn't the same for Harry and Draco.
When the school bell rang, the students hurriedly entered the classroom and found their seats.
Professor Remus Lupin stood on the podium, smiling as he looked at his students.
He was wearing a neat robe, his hair was combed back, and he looked very kind and approachable.
"Good morning, students. Welcome to Defense Against the Dark Arts class. I am your new professor, Remus Lupin." His voice was gentle and magnetic, making everyone feel very comfortable.
"In this course, we will learn how to deal with various threats of dark magic, and how to protect ourselves and others. I believe that through our joint efforts, you will definitely be able to become excellent defense against the dark magic masters." Remus Lupin's words were full of confidence and encouragement, filling the students with anticipation for the course.
"Class, today we're going to learn how to deal with Boggarts," Remus Lupin said, standing at the front of the classroom, his voice gentle yet firm.
The students looked at him curiously, not knowing what a Boggart was.
“A Boggart is a magical creature that can shapeshift; it can transform into whatever you fear most,” Remus Lupin explained. “However, once you know its weaknesses, you can easily defeat it.”
"First, you need to learn how to deal with the Boggart's spell 'Funny Funny,' and at the same time, you need to visualize a happy scene in your mind. When you do this, you can face what you're afraid of by using the spell," Remus Lupin said to the young wizards with a smile.
He took a wardrobe from under the podium, opened the door, and revealed a dark space inside.
“Now, I’d like to invite one of my students up here to sit face-to-face with Boggart,” Remus Lupin said.
The students were all a little nervous, and no one was willing to go up.
“Well then, I’ll just pick one student at random,” Remus Lupin said. “Mr. Neville Longbottom, you’d like to give it a try.”
Neville stood up and walked nervously toward the wardrobe.
He was very nervous and scared because his biggest fear was Professor Snape.
Remus Lupin noticed Neville's fear, and he gently patted Neville on the shoulder, saying, "Neville, you have to believe in yourself. You have enough courage to face the Boggart."
Neville took a deep breath and walked into the cabinet where Boggart was.
When he saw Boggart transform into Professor Snape, his face turned pale, but he did not back down.
He remembered Professor Lupin's words and told himself, "I am not afraid; I have the courage to face it."
“Great, Mr. Neville Longbottom, now imagine your grandmother’s clothes and recite the spell I taught you.” Remus Lupin smiled as he guided Neville’s thought process.
The people from Draco's clique nearby were very unhappy when they heard this; after all, he was their dean.
Neville slowly raised his wand and chanted the spell at Boggart: "Funny funny!" Boggart instantly transformed into Professor Snape dressed in his grandmother's clothes and carrying a red bag. Neville had successfully overcome his fear.
All the young wizards in Gryffindor burst into laughter, while the young wizards in Slytherin turned pale; this was an insult to their headmaster.
Remus Lupin was very pleased to see Neville successfully deal with Boggart.
He stepped forward and said to Neville, “Neville, you’ve done very well. You’ve proven that you have enough courage to face your fears.”
Neville looked at Professor Lupin gratefully and said, “Thank you, Professor. Without your help, I might never have been able to overcome my fear.”
Remus Lupin smiled and said, “You’re welcome, Neville. This is the result of your own hard work and courage. Remember, no matter what difficulties you face, as long as you have courage, you will definitely be able to overcome them.”
“Now you all know Boggart’s weakness,” Professor Lupin said. “As long as you can stay calm and face your fear with laughter, you can overcome it.”
“Now, all of you line up and try it one by one.” Remus Lupin stood aside and let the students try.
As members of the Gryffindor family who love excitement, how could they possibly resist trying out such a hands-on activity?
On the contrary, the young Slytherin wizards were unwilling to go up and put it into practice. Their noble family would not allow others to know what they feared. If it were known, it would be used against them, which was not allowed.
They all stood aside watching the foolish lion make a ruckus.
When it was Ron's turn to face Boggart, he appeared very nervous and afraid.
Boggart transformed into a giant spider and crawled toward Ron.
Ron retreated in terror, barely able to move.
Professor Lupin quickly went to Ron's side and said softly, "Relax, Ron. Boggart will become what you fear most, but it's just an illusion. Remember, it has no real power."
Professor Lupin then handed Ron a wand and said, “Use your wand to imagine something that you think can defeat the spider.”
Ron gripped his wand tightly, trying to concentrate.
Encouraged by Professor Lupin, Ron finally mustered his courage and shouted, "Funny! Funny!" At the same time, he pointed his wand at Boggart. Boggart instantly transformed into a giant spider wearing roller skates, making everyone burst into laughter.
Ron successfully overcame his fear, and a confident smile appeared on his face.
Professor Lupin patted him on the shoulder and said, “Well done, Ron. You see, as long as you have the courage to face your fear, it will disappear.”
Finally, it was Harry Potter's turn. Harry Potter took a deep breath and walked to the wardrobe.
Boggart transformed again and saw a huge black figure.
It was a hooded man whose face was obscured by shadows, making it impossible to see his features.
Harry Potter's heart raced; this was the Dementor he encountered on the Hogwarts Express.
“Hilarious! Hilarious!” he shouted.
Boggart's body began to tremble, and its shape began to change into a ball.
“Well done, Harry,” Professor Lupin said. “You have successfully defeated the Boggart.”
The students applauded Harry Potter, admiring his courage and wisdom.
“Now you all know Boggart’s weakness,” Professor Lupin said. “As long as you can stay calm and face your fear with laughter, you can overcome it.”
The students nodded, full of confidence in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
After Harry dealt with the Boggart, the Defense Against the Dark Arts class came to an end.
I don't know what happened, but I happened to pass by their classroom when they were leaving get out of class.
Then I heard some of the young wizards in Slytherin talking about how Lupin had just let Neville insult Severus.
Ha, I walked with a cold laugh to the classroom where they had just had class. Fred and George, who were following behind me, stopped and waited outside the classroom. They didn't know why I suddenly walked into the classroom, but they could feel the coldness emanating from me.
"Remus Lupin~" All the other young wizards in the classroom had left, leaving only Remus Lupin at the podium, tidying up his textbooks.
“Ayers Hall, what can I do for you?” Remus Lupin didn’t know why I wanted to see him, but he gripped his wand on the table tighter.
"Didn't I beat you four enough before? Now you dare to insult my Severus, Remus Lupin? Are you itching for a beating?" I shifted my emerald pupils, and my golden beast eyes stared intently at Remus Lupin.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Ayers Hall.” Remus Lupin broke out in a cold sweat. He now knew who I was—the Slytherin student who used to defend Severus Snape.
"I'd like to go to the Forbidden Forest tonight and have a chat with Professor Remus Lupin."
I looked at Remus Lupin with a cold smile.
“If you don’t come, you’ll know how I treat you.” I looked at Remus Lupin with a wicked smile, and he gave me a wry smile.
