Chapter 8 The Express Train (Part 2)
Chapter 8 The Express Train (Part 2)
I glanced at the nearby clock; it was only 10:30, and the bus didn't leave for another half hour. I thought I'd find a private room and read first. Luckily, I'd pilfered several potions books from the main hall of the Church of Stanislavsky last night. Looks like I need to complete the quest issued at night as soon as possible; the reward is very tempting—mainly because the Church of Stanislavsky is also very alluring to me.
I pulled my suitcase onto the train and walked from compartment to compartment, checking if any were empty. Finally, near the end of the train, I found an empty compartment.
I went inside and put my suitcase on the luggage rack. Actually, my suitcase wasn't very heavy; it just contained my clothes. I put all the other books and valuables into my portable backpack.
Of course, I always carry my pet Mingyue with me. He always lies on my neck like a scarf, and no one would know he's a cat unless he lifts his face.
Strangely enough, even though I don't know what kind of cat Mingyue is, his fur wasn't hot at all on my neck; it was even a little cool, which didn't make me uncomfortable at all. Moreover, he wasn't heavy at all lying on my neck; he was quite light, which made me not want to put him down at all.
As I was petting my cat and reading, there was a knock on the car door.

"Come in." Could this be considered a formality, someone coming to do their job in front of me?
"Um, sorry to bother you, but all the other private rooms seem to be full. I wonder if we could share a room with you, junior? There are four of us here." Oliver Wood really hadn't expected the person sitting in this private room to be so beautiful and stunning, almost like a girl.
"Of course, do as you please." Unexpectedly, besides Oliver Wood, he was followed by three Weasleys. I've stumbled into a pile of missions.
I really went all out to complete the task, helping them put their luggage on the overhead racks, which inevitably involved some touching, right? And then...

"Thank you." Percy was the last to put his luggage away. As the older brother, he put his suitcase away last so that he could take care of his two younger brothers who were starting school this year.
"No need to be so polite. Oh, right, I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Ayers Hall, you can just call me Ayers." He casually put the book he had just been reading next to him and gave a perfunctory self-introduction.
“My name is Percy Weasley, you can call me Percy. This is Oliver Wood, my roommate and classmate. These are my two younger brothers, Fred and George.” Because of the order in which we put our luggage, Percy Weasley and Oliver Wood sat opposite me, and the twins sat next to me.
"You can call me Oliver." Oliver Wood is so friendly. No wonder he and Percy were so popular among Harry Potter fans in my past life.
"Hey bro, are you a freshman this year too?" Fred immediately put his arm around my shoulder in a friendly manner. (Why can I tell the twins apart? Because I have a blue screen of death from the system.)
"Yes, I'm a freshman this year." I gently removed Fred's arm, afraid that Mingyue might bite him later.
“So that’s the same as us.” George, unable to move or get up, could only slump over Fred, with Fred between them.
“Then the three of you are all my juniors.” Oliver Wood smiled gently.
"Seniors, what year are you all in?" It's strange, the mission is complete, but why isn't there a notification for a new mission?
"Percy and I are both third-year students. If you have any academic questions, you can come to Gryffindor and ask us for help." Oliver Wood was quite easy to talk to, while Percy was rather aloof. It seemed like none of them were easy to win over.

It's like my wish came true; these tasks are all difficult.
After chatting for a while, the twins finally couldn't sit still and ran out of the carriage to play. Percy simply told them to come back to change clothes when they arrived, and then let them go out to play.
As the carriage quieted down, Oliver Wood became a little sleepy, and he quietly lay down on the table to sleep.
It was just Percy and me left. He didn't seem like a talkative person either, so I picked up the book next to me and started reading again.
Percy also took out his book and started reading; the only sound in the quiet carriage was the turning of pages.
"Ayers, is the book you're reading a third-year potions textbook?" I never expected Percy to speak first. He had only glanced at it casually and was surprised to find that the textbook I was reading was for third graders.
"Hmm, a textbook and notes given by a haughty elder, I'm studying on my own." Suddenly, he remembered that haughty professor dressed in all black, and the slight curve of his lips.
"Would it be convenient to discuss this?" It's better to discuss things together than to study alone. You might learn faster that way. If you're just figuring things out on your own, you never know when you'll finish.
"Okay." Then, while Oliver Wood was half asleep, the two of us quietly discussed various potion-related issues.
It was a very enjoyable discussion. Percy was able to answer many questions that I hadn't even encountered myself. It seems that my perspective is still too narrow and I know too little.
To Percy's surprise, this junior in the same year as his brother knew quite a lot, and it seemed he was a person with a bright future.

Soon the Hogwarts Express finally arrived at the platform and stopped.
Fred and George also strolled back, and Oliver Wood woke up, feeling like he wouldn't get any sleep tonight.
Since there were no girls in our private room, we openly changed into our school uniforms.
You don't know until you take their clothes off; they're all muscular when they're naked but look slim when they're dressed.
Oliver Wood, Fred, and George all enjoy outdoor activities, and they all have a slightly tanned complexion.
Oliver Wood is now on the Quidditch team, so he's stronger and more muscular than any of us.
Fred and George, two mischievous boys, have been naughty and troublesome since they were young; they wouldn't be so active without a lot of physical strength.
Percy looks delicate and frail, with fair skin, but he does a lot of housework, so he's a little pale but still has some muscle.
I'm the kind of person who never leaves the house; I'm genuinely fair-skinned, and with the system's built-in 4S+ appearance and 3S+ stamina, I'm practically a cheat code.
Okay, I could see the envious looks they were giving me.
Quickly put on your school uniform and cover everything up.
Nothing will happen if I can't see you.
