The magic stone lamps on the road rippled faintly in the radar. He raised his gaze, shielding himself from the subtle magical fluctuations, and carefully observed the lingering aftershocks around him.
"Ah, I've seen this magical energy fluctuation before. It seems to be the fluctuation of the Plant Guardian. I've found you, Arte!"
Latis chuckled and was about to shut down the radar when he suddenly noticed a golden streak appearing on the edge of the radar, which then slowly disappeared.
"Huh? Where did Bilibili come from?" He paused, then shook his head. "It's more than ten miles away from here, it has nothing to do with me, Run!"
He let out a strange cry and swung his legs toward the source of the magical fluctuations from the plant guardian.
……
"You stinky bird, why are you hiding so far away?"
Yashutia patted the soft boar bristle brush in her hand, sat on the tree roots surrounding the hot spring, and complained.
"I can wash myself..." The robin, its face slightly flushed, emerged from the hot spring, its wet hair glancing at Yashutia on the opposite bank.
“That won’t do!” Yashutia waved the brush, shook her dizzy head, pulled a bar of soap from the bag, then gave the robin a cold smile and said:
"You stinky bird, are you going to come over here yourself, or should I go to you?"
"I already said it's not necessary..." the robin said shyly, covering her eyes, her voice trembling slightly.
"Miss Kurosawa, please come down! You're not wearing any clothes. It's cold at night, you'll catch a cold!"
"Clothes? They're just external things!"
Yashutia stood up, put her hands on her hips, and shouted loudly:
"I, Yashutia Kurosawa, came into this world naked, and I will return naked! Whether it is Yanium or Norard, they are merely temporary dwelling places for me!"
She picked up the brush and continued shouting as she walked into the hot spring:
"No one accepts me, so what! A genius girl like me will shine wherever she is! Haha, fortunes change every thirty years..."
She slipped and tumbled into the hot spring.
"Miss Kurosawa!" The robin exclaimed in alarm, quickly swimming over to search for Yashutia in the center of the hot spring.
"Miss Kurosawa, please don't die! If you die now, you'll go from shining brightly to just emitting heat..."
Just as the robin was anxiously reaching into the water, Yashutia silently stood up from behind her, patted the brush in her hand with a sinister smile, and suddenly stretched out her hand and shouted:
"Bring it to you!"
"Ah!" The robin shuddered in surprise at being suddenly hugged around the waist. She felt the hand gradually sliding down to make it easier to support her weight and the brush that had already reached her back. Her face flushed, and she gritted her teeth.
……
"Hmm? There's movement!"
Latis glanced wisely at the large patch of tree roots faintly visible among the bushes not far away, and chuckled:
"Oh my, I never knew you liked playing in the water! You're still such a child at heart!"
He pushed off with both legs, did a perfect 720-degree spin in mid-air, landed with a healthy smile, and shouted:
"Here comes the water gun!"
All around was silent. Latis frowned slightly, opened his eyes in confusion, and slowly lowered his head, completely dumbfounded.
At his feet, Yashutia lay helplessly on the shore, struggling. On her back, a slender foot was pressing down hard, the taut arch and soft, distinct toes leaving a mark on her back.
The robin's face still bore the flush of the fight, and she clutched a brush tightly in her hand. The bright red marks on Yashutia's back told Latis that she had been scrubbed hard for quite some time.
The robin froze instantly, raising its head haltingly, only to run right into Latis's incredulous gaze.
Her face immediately turned bright red, and she instinctively covered her face, her legs gave way, and she fell into the pool.
"Wow!" Just as Latis was about to reach out and grab her, he saw the robin float up, covering her face and lowering her head. He chuckled awkwardly and asked:
"Robin, are you alright?"
"It's nothing..." the robin said softly in a trembling voice. Her body sank a few centimeters down involuntarily, and it looked like steam was rising from her head.
"You stinky bird, you're really awful..."
Yashutia belatedly pushed herself up from the shore, rubbing her back where she had been stepped on with a look of resentment, patting off the grass clinging to her pert breasts, and turned around to shout:
"I just touched you there! Was it necessary to be so rough? For alchemists, there's no sexual pleasure down there, don't you understand?! Damn it, that hurts so much..."
Having said that, she lowered her head, looked at the robin transformed into a steampunk princess, and suddenly paused, asking:
"What are you doing? Why are you acting like a woman?"
Yashutia turned back with a puzzled look, looked at Latis who was crying from the corner of his mouth, and asked in shock:
"Big brother, what are you doing here?"
Latis snapped back to reality, wiped away his tears, struggled to control his downward-looking gaze, and said with righteous indignation:
"I...I came to check if you were in any danger!"
"I see!" Completely oblivious to her drunken state, Yashutia patted her ample bosom and chuckled.
"Don't worry, big brother, I'll protect the little bird!"
"Hiss..." Latis frantically pinched his philtrum to keep from collapsing from the excessive rush of excited blood. He said with difficulty:
"Good job, you did a great job, you did a great job..."
“Of course!” Yashutia nodded vigorously, then asked innocently:
"Big brother, would you like to soak in the hot spring with us? This pool is quite big!"
“I…I think it’s better not to…” Latis shook his head with difficulty and said, “I…I’ll go with Arte instead…Have you seen Arte?”
"That half-elf?" Yashutia showed a slight annoyance. She snorted and pointed to a place surrounded by trees at a higher point, saying:
"He should be over there, in that enclosed grove of trees. I just heard him guarding it with plants."
"Alright!" Latis breathed a sigh of relief and quickly said:
"Then you guys enjoy your drinks while they're hot. I won't disturb you; I'll be going now."
"Wait, you can't leave!" Yashutia suddenly called out.
"What, what's wrong?" Latis wiped the sweat from his brow.
"Hmm, hehe..." Yashutia chuckled drunkenly, picked up the brush, and explained:
"Hey, you can take this soft boar bristle brush and the herbal scented soap I bought at the general store..."
She staggered past Steam Princess, walked to the other side, took out a pair of new brush soaps, and then stumbled back.
"Oh, so that's all there is to it, haha..."
Latis exhaled, calmed himself down, and waited for her to bring the things over.
Suddenly, his eyes widened.
"Ah!" Yashutia slipped, her legs spread apart helplessly, and she fell forward involuntarily.
"Holy crap!" Latis stared blankly at the slightly exposed flower bud, completely unaware of the brush and soap flying toward his head.
boom!
Latis, out!
……
"Women are so dangerous..."
Latis touched the bag on his head and gasped.
"How can a skinny alchemist break through the defense of a level one warrior?!"
He sighed, jumped to the treetop, and looked around.
"It should be this way, right? Where is the enclosed forest that Yashutia mentioned?...Eh?"
He took two steps forward, and a melodious song suddenly entered his ears. The song was sometimes deep and sometimes ethereal, like the whisper of an angel, lingering with a pale green, shimmering magic under the silent night sky.
"Elf language?"
Latis paused, listened intently for a moment, and then smiled slightly:
"Ate sounds like she's in a good mood."
He walked toward the source of the song, the bright moonlight shining upon him. He suddenly recalled the half-elf's earlier remark and couldn't help but sigh as well:
"The weather is really nice today!"
Intertwined vines appeared between the trees, surrounding the hot spring pool like an impenetrable curtain.
Latis stood before him, hesitated for a moment, and was about to shout out to interrupt the half-elf's song when the vine suddenly reached out and gently touched his body.
He felt the [Blessing of Ateliers] within his soul being slightly touched by the vines, and then he saw the vines intelligently open a small entrance.
"Okay, Arte's plant guards aren't even guarding against me anymore."
Latis scratched his head, crouched down and crawled through the entrance, then walked onto the bush-lined path leading to the hot springs.
Behind him, the vines surveyed the air once more before quietly closing the entrance again.
……
I'm willing to put my ring on your finger.
I make my sincerest vows to you.
I'd like to tell you my real name.
I hope that when you miss me, you will gently capture my heart.
I wish to bestow upon you eternal blessings.
So that you will no longer be saddened by my departure.
I would guard you in the starry sea of my soul.
Let the stars of each night be my eyes…
Artemis's singing faded, and she looked wistfully at the moon, letting out a sigh.
Why do I carry such hatred? If not, wouldn't I be happy to express my feelings to my elder brother?
Suddenly, she recalled the ancient and loyal virtues of the elves that she had come to understand when she read that song in the library when she was a child.
