Chapter 360: The Current City E <2>

Chapter 360: The Current City E <2>

Kate laughed. "The researchers are still making the trial version. There are more and more mutated pets as compared to giant mutated animals. Perhaps in the future, there will be more ’animals tamer’ who had formed blood contract with their pets."

The advantage of signing the blood contract was quite obvious. But the drawback was also quite clear.

It was said that Marc participated in the project about this matter and might even try to implement some ideas. But Kate was not very clear about the exact content because it was a confidential matter and she wouldn’t be of much help there.

She only knew that Marc was often called to deal with some situation while he was learning in the academy.

"Hehehe, if such a day were to come, I’ll definitely sign up to be an animal tamer." Lucy laughed. She looked at Robby. "And then I’ll find a good partner for you, Robby."

"Wang! Wang!"

Marc walked over while carrying a mop. He looked at Robby helplessly. "You rascal. Did you forget who’s your owner?"

"Wang!" Robby wagged his tail towards Marc.

Seeing his stupid dog, Marc rubbed his forehead. He felt that he would be going crazy if he had to correct this brat all the time. At this time, he was thankful that only a few people who could understand what Robby was saying.

If there were more people who understand, he felt that he had no face to keep anymore.

Lucy laughed. "Robby is no longer that young. Anyway, don’t you think that finding a good partner for him is a good thing too? At the very least, he will not bother all my customers all the time."

Robby’s eyes lit up and he wagged his tail even more.

Kate patted Robby’s head while laughing a bit. This naughty dog was not so innocent after all. Well, he was already of age.

"Don’t worry, your customers like him very much," Marc rejected tactfully.

Lucy giggled.

Robby clearly didn’t understand Marc’s words and kept on wagging his tail while looking at his owner as if he wanted a piece of bone to eat.

"If you truly want to be an animal tamer, you need to learn how to take care of them first." Kate was amused at Lucy and Marc’s interaction.

The door opened and Kyle looked at the bell in front of him. "Is it not too noisy to use this type of bell here?"

"Why not? I like it very much." Lucy pouted.

Kate smiled and waved at Kyle. "Have you finished talking with your father?"

"Yeah, the report is done. Come one, let’s eat in Dylan’s family new restaurant."

"Okay." Kate nodded happily and followed Kyle out.

Lucy clicked her tongue. She felt that once Kate had gotten together with her boyfriend, she would often forget about her friend. Oh well, Lucy had no intention to become the third wheel either, so she would not pester her friend.

"What are you doing there standing and doing nothing? The training center still need to be cleaned up!"

"I’m cleaning up, I’m cleaning up!"

"Wang! Wang!"

Amidst the noise behind her, Kate laughed lightly. Everything felt so peaceful and comfortable now. It felt as if the few months they spent roaming around and fighting against those giant mutated animals are nothing more than a dream.

Though, Kate knew that it was not a dream.

But it had become something that was far from her current life.

Life had become better and it would be peaceful, just like how it used to be in the past.

"Is Dylan the one managing the business?" Kate asked curiously. From what she knew, Dylan spent his time in the laboratory and rarely got out now. Most of the business was handed to his sister and brother in law.

"No, it’s his sister." Kyle glanced at Kate. "They decided to expand in restaurant business after economy had started to recover."

"How about the ingredients?"

"Private farm. They asked for permission and had to pay quite a lot of tax to be able to have it during this time." Kyle knew a bit because he had seen the application and so on.
